Stargazing, amateur astronomy, or star party Whatever you prefer to call it, stargazers enjoy watching the night sky and the abundance of objects found in it. Scientific research is not our main goal.  Our interests are looking out into the clear night sky and being in awe of the universe, learning some basics of astronomy, enjoying the outdoors and meeting new people.
